Privacy policy

This policy covers rezerved.io and the Rezerved booking app. It explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. If something here is unclear, email [email protected] and a person will answer.

Who is responsible

Rezerved is the data controller for this website and for the accounts of businesses using the product. For bookings made by a member of the public on a business's page, that business is the controller and Rezerved is its processor — we handle the data on their instructions.

What we collect

• Account data — name, business name, email and password hash, so you can sign in and we know which business a calendar belongs to.
• Booking data — the name, contact details and notes a guest gives when they book, plus the time and service. This belongs to the business you booked with.
• Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies. Which pages get read, roughly where from, and which links get clicked. IP addresses are anonymised.
• Support messages — anything you send us by email, kept so we can follow the thread.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use booking data to train models for other customers.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your cookie choice; the site cannot work without them. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) load only after you accept — decline and no analytics cookie is ever set and no request is made to Google. You can change your mind any time by clearing site data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

How long we keep it

• Account data — while your account is open, then 90 days.
• Booking data — as long as the business keeps its account, unless it deletes the record sooner.
• Analytics — 14 months.
• Support email — 24 months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and equivalent laws you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to hand it to another provider. Email [email protected] — we answer within 30 days. If a booking was made with a business, ask that business first; we will help them respond. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.

Where data lives

Data is stored on servers in the European Union. Some subprocessors (for example analytics and email delivery) may process data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and update the date above before the change takes effect.
